Dr. Eshani Karu MD / Happy Day Pomona– Welcome the Day! Hello Pomona, the days are getting longer, more sunshine in the sky and smiles are all about us. Spring will turn into Summer Pomona and day by day we are returning to normal. Vaccines are being administered to adults in Pomona and preparations are being made for the children. It is the children who will need to have our full attention in the near future, if not today. They have been inside their homes for most of the year, living a quarantine without their Pomona friends on a daily basis, except for their cell phones. They have not seen each other, shaken their hands, played ball in the street and engaged in the activities that make them children. Their social skills will undoubtedly need help and we must be patient with them. That said – it is a wonderful day Pomona as the time for optimism is now.
